Documents can be transmitted as e-mail through the DX-800's built-in LAN interface via the Internet or Intranet.  When sending a fax, it dials as soon as the first page has been scanned.
Super G3 Transmission via PSTN
The DX-800's Super G3 33.6 kpbs fax modem uses advanced JBIG compression to transfer a high-quality, full page image in three seconds.
Simultaneous Operation
With dual ports, a document can be sent over the LAN while a fax can be received over the PSTN conventional telephone line.
Three Job Multi-Tasking
The DX-800 permits you to store the next transmission, or print out a document from a network PC at the same time.
Digital Document Delivery to Your PC
Sends fax documents as an attachment (using TIFF-F Image Format), in an e-mail. Save money on fax toner, and electronically store your faxes!

Super Fine Transmission/Reception
The DX-800 allows you not only to receive documents transmitted in Super Fine mode, but to send Super Fine Transmissions as well.
600 dpi Network Printer Capability
Can be used as a network printer with 6.5 ppm capability.
High Fax Memory Capacity
The standard 4 MB can hold up to 240 pages. And with an optional 1-8 MB Flash Memory Cards you can expand up t0 760 pages.
500 Page Paper Capacity
Standard paper capacity of 250 sheets. Add an additional paper tray for legal or extra letter.
Check & Call Self Diagnostics
Reports low toner status and certain mechanical problems to a service center, either via e-mail or fax.
